Trail Life USA is a Christ-centered, boy-focused outdoor adventure program that disciples boys to become godly men. Designed to build character and leadership through service, skill-building, and outdoor experiences, Trail Life gives boys a place to grow in faith, courage, and conviction—all while climbing mountains, serving their communities, and forming lifelong friendships.
Our Troop
Troop 8859 is more than just a troop—we’re a community committed to shaping young men of character, strength, and faith. Our troop number is drawn from the 8,859-foot peak that rises above our valley, a summit we hike not just for the challenge—but for what it represents.

- Brotherhood – Strengthened on the trail and in life
We lift our eyes to the hills, knowing our strength comes from the Lord, the Maker of the mountain and the men who climb it (Psalm 121:1-2).

Our Charter Organization
Legacy Christian School PSP is a Christ-centered homeschool support program serving over 1,000 students across Southern California. Founded in 1997, it empowers parents to educate their children at home with confidence—offering academic guidance, enrichment classes, field trips, and a vibrant community rooted in biblical values. As our chartering organization, Legacy provides the spiritual and administrative foundation that supports our mission to raise godly young men through Trail Life.
Our Host Church
Community Church Rancho is a welcoming, Christ-centered congregation in Rancho Cucamonga, dedicated to connecting everyone to Jesus, others, and their purpose. Through weekend gatherings, house churches, and various ministries, they foster a vibrant community rooted in faith and service. As our host church, Community Church Rancho provides the spiritual and physical foundation that supports our mission to raise godly young men through Trail Life.
