A Trail for Every Boy

A Trail for
Every Boy

Whether they’re learning how to build a fire, lead a patrol, memorize Scripture, or conquer a summit, every boy in Trail Life is on a journey toward godly manhood. The Trail Life program offers age-appropriate growth, structured progression, and strong mentorship at every level.

At this time, we are only able to serve boys in Grades K-8th. However, as our troop grows, we aim to offer the full Trail Life program to boys of all ages (K-12th) in the Upland and Rancho Cucamonga communities.

Woodlands Trail (Grades K-5)

Woodlands Trail
(Grades K-5)

The Woodlands Trail program is designed for younger boys in elementary school. Through hands-on learning, outdoor adventure, and Christ-centered mentorship, Trailmen in this stage begin developing foundational skills in leadership, responsibility, and biblical character.

Boys are grouped into age-based patrols:

  • Foxes (K–1st)

  • Hawks (2nd–3rd)

  • Mountain Lions (4th–5th)

Each patrol participates in engaging activities like hikes, skills training, service projects, and Scripture memory—growing together in faith, adventure, and brotherhood.

Navigators (Grades 6-8)

Navigators
(Grades 6-8)

The Navigators program is designed for middle school boys who are ready for new challenges and deeper responsibility. Through outdoor adventure, service, and strong Christian mentorship, Navigators begin to take ownership of their growth in leadership, character, and maturity.

Boys in this stage are grouped together in one patrol:

  • Navigators (6th–8th)

Navigators participate in exciting activities such as camping, hiking, survival skills, service projects, and team challenges—while also beginning to lead and mentor younger boys. The program helps Trailmen develop independence, spiritual depth, and a vision for godly manhood.
